If you arrive later than your scheduled pick-up time, a surcharge will apply. If you arrive after our business hours, you can collect your baggage the following day during our regular hours.

What hygiene measures do you follow for luggage storage?

We maintain a clean and regularly disinfected space. Additionally, we handle your luggage with care to prevent any damage or contamination.

How much does it cost to store my luggage?

We offer competitive rates, which vary based on luggage size and storage duration. You can check our prices by contacting us via WhatsApp or visiting our premises.

Do you offer insurance for stored luggage?

Yes, we provide basic insurance that covers unexpected incidents. You can also opt for additional coverage at an extra cost.

Is it safe to leave my belongings in your storage?

Absolutely. We have 24/7 surveillance, security cameras, and controlled access to ensure your belongings are fully protected.

Do I need to book in advance?

It’s not mandatory, but we recommend booking in advance during peak seasons to guarantee space.

How long can I store my luggage?

You can store your luggage for a few hours or several days. For extended periods, we offer special discounts.

Can I pick up my luggage before the scheduled time?

Yes, you can collect your baggage at any time during our business hours. Just present your ticket or ID.

What if I forget something inside my suitcase?

You can visit us during our opening hours and request access to your luggage to check its contents.

Can I pay online for the service?

What types of luggage can I store?

We accept suitcases, backpacks, and packages. However, we do not allow:

What happens if I lose my pick-up ticket?

If you lose your ticket, you can still collect your luggage by presenting a valid ID and verifying your registration details. For added security, we also send a copy of the pick-up ticket to your registered email.

What happens if I don’t collect my luggage on time?

If your luggage is not picked up within the agreed time, we will keep it for an additional period, subject to storage fees. After 3 days, we will contact you to arrange a solution.

Are there any weight or size restrictions for luggage?

We accept luggage of all sizes, but extra-large or heavy items may be subject to additional fees.

What happens if my baggage is damaged during storage?

While we take all necessary precautions to protect your luggage, in the event of damage, we will assess the situation and act according to our policies.

PREMISES

The services provided by TRAVEL BOX by Azione Creativa Srls are governed by these "Terms and Conditions of Service."

The "Terms and Conditions of Service" established by TRAVEL BOX of Azione Creativa Srls shall be considered an integral part of each individual storage contract or any other service agreement entered into with the Client and may not be severed from the contract itself.

DEFINITIONS

The following definitions apply to the "Terms and Conditions of Service" governing the storage contract and any other services entered into with the client:

  • "We," "us," "our," and "commissioned personnel" refer to Azione Creativa Srls and any partner or associate of Azione Creativa Srls.

  • "Customer(s)," "you," and "your" refer to the holder of the storage receipt, hereinafter referred to as "receipt."

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your storage contract and any other service agreements are concluded with Azione Creativa Srls, owner of the "TRAVEL BOX" name and the www.travelboxstorage.com website, which agrees to store your luggage/items and/or provide you with additional services.

By dropping off your baggage at our premises, you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined in our storage contract and/or the service agreement, both on your behalf and on behalf of any other interested party, whether or not you have signed the storage receipt.

Our Terms and Conditions apply to our employees, directors, and agents. These terms and conditions may only be modified in writing by one of our authorized officers with full authority.

If you entrust your baggage to us while providing oral or written instructions that conflict with these Terms and Conditions, and such instructions have not been explicitly authorized and approved in writing, we will not be bound by them.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE – AUTOMATIC LOCKERS

The baggage storage service allows customers to store their baggage/items at our staffed baggage storage locations and/or in automatic lockers for the period indicated on the storage receipt. This period runs from the drop-off date and time to the estimated pick-up date and time specified by the client on the receipt.

The client acknowledges that they do not have the right to withdraw from the transaction and expressly waive this right due to the nature of the service.
Reservations are non-refundable.
The booking confirmation is provided via email and/or storage receipt from Azione Creativa Srls - travelboxstorage.com.

Opening Hours & Access

  • TRAVEL BOX locations are open seven days a week.

  • Opening hours may vary by location; please check the specific page for each storage facility.

  • Reservations can be made online 24/7.

Locker Usage Rules

  • 🚫 No animals are allowed inside the lockers or on the premises.

  • 🚭 All facilities are completely smoke-free.

  • 🔞 Access is restricted to individuals over 18 years old or minors accompanied by an adult.

  • 🥪 Perishable food items cannot be stored.

  • ⚖️ The maximum weight allowed per locker is 35 kg.

  • 📏 Customers must verify their baggage size and weight before booking online. Refunds will not be issued if the baggage exceeds these limits.

Customer Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:
✔️ Ensuring the locker door is securely closed before leaving the premises.
✔️ Locking their baggage with a padlock, combination, or security device.
✔️ Labeling luggage with their name and contact number.
✔️ Not leaving valuables inside their baggage (TRAVEL BOX assumes no liability for lost or stolen valuables).
✔️ Ensuring no animals are inside their baggage.
✔️ Removing all belongings from the locker before leaving for the last time.

Customers are fully responsible for their baggage and its contents.
It is their sole responsibility not to leave identity documents or other essential travel documents in storage.
Azione Creativa Srls will not be liable for any negligence on the part of the client in this regard.

LATE CHECK-IN AT LUGGAGE STORAGE

If baggage collection is delayed, the following charges apply:

  • During business hours → A 50% surcharge per hour of delay.

  • After closing time → The baggage will be stored overnight and can be retrieved the following day, subject to an additional 50% charge per day of delay.

FORGOTTEN OR UNCLAIMED BAGGAGE

For security reasons, any forgotten, found, or unclaimed baggage will be destroyed 5 days after the booking period ends.

Requesting Shipment of Forgotten Items

If a forgotten item is requested to be shipped, the customer must cover all associated costs in advance. Fees include:

  • €35 handling fee

  • Shipping costs, which vary based on weight, destination, and shipping method (e.g., regular mail, UPS, DHL, etc.).

STORAGE DOCUMENT

The customer must accompany each stored item with a storage receipt, which is an essential part of these General Terms and Conditions of Service.

  • The receipt will be issued free of charge by Azione Creativa Srls or its authorized representative.

  • The receipt must be fully completed and signed by the customer for staffed luggage storage, confirming acceptance of these Terms of Service.

  • For automatic lockers, customers must check the box stating "I agree to all Terms and Conditions" at the time of online booking or on-site purchase.

  • A copy of the receipt will be sent to the customer's email.

PROHIBITED & DANGEROUS ITEMS

The storage of prohibited or dangerous items under national law is strictly forbidden.
We do not accept storage or provide services for items that, in our sole discretion, are considered hazardous.

🚫 The following items are prohibited:

  • Live or dead plants and animals

  • Negotiable securities (cash, coins, credit cards, traveler’s checks, etc.)

  • Weapons (firearms, knives, etc.)

  • Drugs, narcotics, or psychotropic substances

  • Flammable, hazardous, or explosive materials

  • Jewelry, gold, silver, precious metals, and stones

  • Bulky goods or perishable food

  • Technology (iPhones, iPads, tablets, PCs, etc.)

  • Architectural models and political materials

Items accepted only with prior written authorization:

📦 Food and pharmaceutical products
🍾 Cigarettes and alcohol
🫙 Fragile objects (glass, bottles, etc.)

Customers acknowledge and agree that storing such goods is subject to specific regulations and must comply with all applicable laws.

RIGHT OF INSPECTION

The customer acknowledges and agrees that Azione Creativa Srls and/or any government authority have the right to open and inspect any baggage at any time for security reasons.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS

You warrant, represent, and guarantee that:

(A) If using staffed luggage storage, the contents of your baggage have been accurately described on our storage receipt.

(B) Your full address and contact details have been correctly entered on the storage receipt or online form.

(C) The contents of your baggage have been properly packed and sealed to protect them from ordinary transport risks, including sorting and handling processes.

(D) The contents of your baggage will not cause damage to any other stored baggage or our facilities.

(E) Your baggage does not contain any prohibited items, and you are not a person or entity with whom we are legally restricted from conducting business under applicable laws or regulations.

(F) If you have requested that storage fees be charged to a third party and they fail to make the payment, you will be fully responsible for the payment.

(G) You have complied with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the provisions of this agreement.

(H) The total economic value of each piece of baggage, including its contents, does not exceed €200.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any liability, costs, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, incurred by us due to your failure to comply with these warranties, obligations, or commitments. This applies even if we inadvertently accept storage that violates any of your obligations.

SCOPE OF OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Our liability for loss or damage to your baggage while stored in our facilities, and only when directly attributable to Azione Creativa Srls or its employees, is governed by Articles 1768 and 1770 of the Italian Civil Code.
Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed €200 per baggage item, as covered by the insurance policy described in paragraph 10 of these Terms and Conditions.

Exclusions of Liability

In cases not covered by the Civil Code regulations on deposit contracts, Azione Creativa Srls shall not be held liable for:

  • Delays or failure to collect baggage outside of our operating hours.

  • Direct or indirect damages caused by delays or non-collection of baggage.

  • Missed flights, trains, business opportunities, financial losses, reputational damage, or lost customers—even if we were aware of the potential consequences.

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

    • Contractual disputes

    • Negligence

    • Intentional misconduct

    • Failure to comply with obligations

Force Majeure & Uncontrollable Events

We are not liable for our inability to fulfill obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, storms, floods, fires, epidemics, fog, snow, or frost).

  • Force majeure events (wars, accidents, terrorism, strikes, embargoes, riots, civil unrest).

  • National or local disruptions.

  • Defects or hidden flaws in the contents of stored baggage.

  • Criminal acts by third parties (theft, vandalism, assault, arson).

  • Acts or omissions by the customer or third parties for whom the customer is responsible.

  • Actions or omissions by public authorities.

  • Storage of items prohibited by law, even if we mistakenly accept them.

Additionally, we are not responsible for:
🚫 Broken handles or wheels.
🚫 Damage to baggage due to its own inherent defects.

Our sole liability concerning storage services shall be strictly governed by these Terms and Conditions.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Each piece of baggage stored at our facilities is covered by an insurance policy from Generali S.p.A., up to a maximum of €200 per item.

This insurance covers damages and/or loss directly caused by Azione Creativa Srls, including proven theft by third parties.

Exclusions from Insurance Coverage

Our insurance does not cover the following:
🚫 Gemstones, precious metals, jewelry, or watches
🚫 Plasma screens, LCDs, satellite navigation systems
🚫 Mobile phones, computers, tablets, or other electronics
🚫 Cash, credit cards, or financial securities
🚫 Glass, porcelain, antiques, or artworks
🚫 Documents, films, tapes, disks, memory cards, or any media containing data

Additionally, our insurance policy does not cover:

  • Consequential damages

  • Delayed deliveries

  • Losses due to the customer's breach of these Terms and Conditions

  • Damage to baggage handles or wheels

All TRAVEL BOX locations are equipped with 24/7 video surveillance, linked to a central security control system and private security monitoring.

CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS

If you need to file a claim for lost or damaged baggage, you must follow the legal procedures established by national law. Otherwise, we reserve the right to reject your complaint.

Complaint Procedure

  1. At the time of baggage collection, you must sign the receipt for unchecked goods.

  2. Complaints must be submitted in writing within 8 calendar days from the date of baggage collection.

  3. Supporting documentation must be provided within the legally established limitation period.

We are not obligated to process any claims until all outstanding storage fees are paid.
Additionally, you cannot offset the claim amount against your outstanding payments to us.

Inspection Requirement

For damage claims, the contents of your baggage must be available for inspection at the time of collection.

If we partially or fully accept a claim, you agree that:

  • Your insurance provider and any third parties waive their rights to pursue additional claims against us.

FEES & PAYMENT TERMS

Storage Fees & Charges

Unless otherwise agreed, you must pay all applicable storage fees (including credit card processing fees) when collecting your baggage.

For staffed luggage storage, payment is required at the time of collection, including any applicable value-added taxes.

For automatic locker services, your credit card will be charged immediately upon online or on-site purchase.

Disputing Invoices

  • You waive your right to dispute our invoices if you do not submit a written complaint within 7 days of the invoice date.

  • You agree to pay all reasonable costs incurred in recovering unpaid invoices within 7 days of the invoice date.

Late Payments & Interest Charges

  • Late payments may be subject to default interest, in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 231/02 and its amendments.

  • Azione Creativa Srls reserves the right to recover outstanding debts as per legal provisions, without prejudice to seeking additional damages.

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

Applicable Law

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

All disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be governed by Italian law.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes between the parties shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the consumer's court, in accordance with Article 33, Paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 and its amendments.
